The midfield was f##king awful, we started off well but as soon as Suarez's goal went in after 11 minutes they retreated to the edge of our box and invited pressure onto us for the remaining 80 minutes.

its losing Sturridge that's done it. We've been forced to play Gerrard, Lucas and Allen in the middle and there's no pace. Once Sturridge is back (next week) we'll have Gerrard, Allen and Coutinho in there...all will be well again.

Normally I think we have better control in midfield, create more chances and in general control the games better.
Whatever. Forget this game now and on towards Chelski.
IMO, we've seen a lot worse this season.
This wasn't that bad guys. I kinda got used to this. The next two will be far more difficult I think.

That game was awful, I think if we would have went there and dominated Mourinho might have thought '5 points ahead with 3 games to go? It's too much I'll concentrate on the CL' but that performance must have given City and Chelsea heart that it's not over. Mourinho and Pellegrini will be hoping that Chelsea and Palace can take something from us and going by our midfield's performance they could be right.
Without Hendo our pressing was almost non existent.
