We shouldn't be missing these chances on a game like this one. First Sterling and now Luis. It's a game of few chances and we might be punished if we miss them.

Great play by Sterling and Coutinho in the previous attacks. We should be 4-0 up by now. Suarez missing too many chances. Hopefully we can kill the game soon!

Stoke and Southampton scoring at almost the same time as we did so the results look good for us.

Would have been nice to be 2-0

Mig has been brilliant in goal, great save and some good distribution

Hopefully we can kill the game early in the second half

He's a big step up in quality for me, Reina wouldn't have saved a quarter of the shots he has. :suspect:

Ok first half. Strongly out possessing them, but I don't feel we're really in and around their box as much as we need to be. We have created some really good chances, but haven't been close to finishing any of them. It seems like it's gonna be one of those days where the whole team has forgot their shooting boots, so we really need to get another goal because it doesn't seem we'll get much else. Our horrible record at clean sheets and the fact that they've came very close to scoring on a  couple of occasions makes me feel 1 will not be enough.

Gerrard needs to pick it up. He's running and controlling the game again, but messing up a lot of the short passes. Sterling, Hendo and Coutinho are doing relatively well, and even Allen isn't that bad. Suarez is playing alright but he's one who's really struggling with his finishing.

Am not surprised. Most of the old regulars seem to have gone.

As for the match..... dominated possession. They have parked the bus and we got lucky with the first goal... second half they will open up and we will get a couple more.. (I hope)  :rasp
