It would be interesting to see how we set up without Sturridge. The same we did against Everton, or will we try something new? Maybe we just put in Moses as a direct replacement for Sturridge?

Don't yer think Aspas might finally get a game ?

Let's face it, sooner or later BR has to show everybody why he signed the fella .

aspas is still recovering from a thigh injury, or something. i'd actually like us to go with suarez up front with coutinho and alberto roaming around behind and to the sides of him. then some general collection of fair to middling midfielders behind that lot. and some defenders. and a goalie.

Predictions were Aspas was expected to be fit for this game, although, after his lay off lacking match fitness.

If the rest of the squad are fit I'd go with those that started against Everton.

Potential banana skin this. hull have some decent players in there and have worried a few teams at home.

They have a decent left sided player called George Boyd who I used to watch occasionally when he was at Peterborough, a team I go and watch sometimes when we don't have a game.

Fun fact: Hull have conceded only 2 goals in home games this season.

Anyway, I don't think that there's a reason to stock up the midfield against this lot like we did against Everton. I'd go same line-up as against Fulham, with Moses instead of Sturridge.

Nooo! Coutinho on the bench! :(

Anyway Sturridge is out for 6-8 weeks with ligament issues.

I have nothing against rotations in defense since we have enough depth there, but I don't think we can afford to rest Coutinho. This match will be far more difficult than the one we have on Wednesday anyway. Unless he's injured, I don't agree with benching him.

Anyway, if we're going to play like this, then it would be better if we play Moses on the wing and Sterling partnering Suarez in attack instead of vice-versa.

Offal site says Coutinho missed training this week due to high ankle injury which is reason he is on the bench
