Good to see Agger and Countinho back but I can't believe Cissokho managed to get on the team sheet again. What is BR thinking? I'd rather have Henderson as RB and Johnson as LB with Allen or Alberto in midfield.

Also, I was kinda hoping that Gerrard won't be available for this one. A rest would have done him good and we could have had the chance to try out something new in midfield.

Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing him have a breather , mind you as have another bloody international break next week its wouldn't have meant much to us

Can't believe we scored 2 goals from set-piece against these. Can't believe I wanted Gerrard out for this one. Fantastic deliveries.

Well I guess that's done. Gerrard MOTM so far. Hendo and Luis a close second. Would be nice if we could rest Gerrard and Suarez in the second half.

Great result and good answer to last weeks result.

Hopefully West Brom can hold in 4 minutes of injury time and do us another favour as well today

Fantastic performance. The movement and touches were superb. W kept pressing throughout the whole game which was brilliant to see. Over 30 attempts on goal, wow.

4-0, can't complain about that.

I think this result is significant.  After last week's game I said the reaction this week would tell us more about what this team is made of and what we can achieve this season.

The way Rodgers sets us up we will occasionally get overrun in midfield by the better sides, but we're more likely to get 3 points than 1 or 0 against the sides we 'should beat'.

Interesting to hear a view from the outside today - John Hartson on 5 live said we were absolute certs for top 4, and although he wouldn't go as far as to say we would win the title, he said we couldn't completely be ruled out.  Not sure I share his optimism but I do think we have a great chance of top 4.
