How much was City rumored to be willing to give us for Skittles in the summer?

Can only think that BR has told the team to avoid any chance of European competition next season.

We've played some great football this season but often (like today) we've also played without focus and authority.

I think we will say goodbye to afew players in the summer, a lot of players thought it was going to be a stroll today but Southampton are fighting relegation so they were always going to be up for it, we just weren't from the off and i think that includes BR

Forget Europe. We're not catching up quite obviously. We need to focus on trying to get our defense in order.

I have a feeling that even though Coutinho has been great with skills, and movement, I think he's been often poor with his passing, he needs to work on that.

I thought the whole team looked really really tired and off-speed today. Johnson has been poor for a long time. I didn't look at the third goal but I'm guessing Skrtel played a major role in that. We need a more dominant leader in center half. And we need a good understudy to Reina. Henderson should also play more, he was phenomenal up to the point where he suddenly stopped being called on by Rodgers. Weird.

After we got a goal back at half time you would have thought we would have kicked on and won the game but we continued as we left off in the 1st half
