Once again Assaidi rots on the bench while we make a pointless substitution.

Good win, great 1st half, frustrating 2nd as we just took the foot off the gas too much

Hoped for a Suarez hat trick but this win was very important.  If we'd have lost or drawn this bad QPR side it would have been hard to move on.  Hopefully we can push on from here.  Sunderland were playing awful, but have picked it up in recent weeks, so should be interesting.

Glad to be proved wrong and another step forward, this time though we dont want
two steps back and they have to get a run going.

Won the game in an impressive first half hour and after that it was a non event for
the most part.

Felt Assaidi should have replace Sterling who never got going.

Assaidi is heading of to the ANC and tbh it would be rather pointless to try and integrate him into the team at this stage. A few were surprised when I mentioned earlier when he was bought, that he wouldn't feature much until the second half of the season. There was an incredulous comparison to Suarez and how well he's fitted in. Unless you actually watch football outside the UK on a consistent basis, you will find it difficult to understand why he isn't featuring in our side. You've seen cameos of his performance and some of you are notably impressed, but the player at Herenveen did not track back enough and wasn't hard working. I suspect he's been struggling with the required fitness levels and work ethic and that wouldn't surprise me one bit.

He is young though and has time on his side.

Back to the game, very glad that we won convincingly but I do wish we'd taken the opportunity to knock a couple more in. It appeared that we wanted to close the game out half-way through the second half, reverting to passing sideways.

we took our chances early and put the game to bed which is what we have been struggling to do. 3.0 is a decent win.
2nd half we still controlled the game and were comfortable even though they tightened up and began to have a go.
suarez was class today and so was agger and enrique so hopefully his hamstring is ok.
we really need a taarabt type of player who will run past lads from midfield . its all very well looking for tri-angles but sometimes you just need that creativity.
still it a win to close out the year and lets hope 2013 is better :buttrock

good performance, especially in the first half, second half they went into damage limitation mode so it was always going to be tougher to break them down but we still managed to create one or two opportunities which was good to see.
i thought gerrard put in probably his best performance of the season to date and johnson also had a good game. hendo did well too.
the star of the show was deffo luis but he`s been brilliant ever since he walked through the door at anfield.
reina looked something like his old self as well, if he could get his old form back that wouldnt half help.
one minor moan is that i`ve noticed sterling is getting a bit sloppy with the ball, he`s giving it away far too much imo, simple passes as well.
but overall a good performance and a good win, winning away from home in this league isnt easy

Great performance! good to bounce back, but how poor were QPR? they didn't even bother to press or work hard.

However, I thought Suarez and Gerrard were top class, Henderson looked good too.
