QPR v Liverpool

This, I believe is the first match thread I have started and hopefully I can get a 100% winning start.

Anyway back to the match, this could potentially be a banana skin, QPR although having what on paper is a decent squad have only won one game this year but now with Arry in charge I keep thinking about when he took over Spurs who were struggling at the time and they give us our first defeat of the season. We really want no mistakes here, lets go out and do what we did to Fulham after the Villa defeat and thrash them.

I believe Lucas is a doubt so my team would be-

--------------------------------- Reina

-------------- Johnson-----Sketel----Agger-----Enrique

-----------------------Gerrard----------Allen

--------------------------------Sahin

------------Downing--------Suarez--------Sterling

i would like to see Sahin start instead of Shelvey to give a bit more quality behind the front three and give Downing another go as no player excelled against Stoke.

I'll go for 0-3

It's another game that on paper we should be winning but I'm far from convinced it's going to be easy.

We're gonna have to get stuck in today because QPR will !

I'm hoping the team stands up and we show some authority but suspect that we're in for a nervous afternoon.

seems there are a few players that have been sent back as they have also gone down with the sick bug.

just heard a funnt bit on the radio...well its not funny if it happend, they said how fast this bug come on and that by half time all the liverpool team could come down with it, the guy then said if he was in charger of liverpool today he would still send them out as when they got the ball no one would wish to go near them if they are throwing up and it would turn into an easy win for liverpool.

was there not a game a few years ago when spurs where hit by the sick bug and the game got called off?

Wasn't that the last game of the season? They played, lost and missed out on the top 4.

That was the spurs game that they ended up playing and losing. Our situation is hardly comparable though, half of their match day squad was affected, whereas we have only confirmed Brad Jones and Brendan Rodgers.

we need to beat this lot today and i couldnt care if its by 10 or 1 just as long as its a win.
of course they will be up for it but that isnt as excuse to lose this. they have 10pts are bottom of the table and only 1 win so far so for us to lose this would be criminal.
