I reckon Sahin can do that job with Lucas in the side, Henderson frustrates the hell out of me, really annoyed at his poor attempt at putting the ball into an empty net last night and giving away that free-kick in such a dangerous area was just stupid. i agree with earlier posts regarding the LB position, it would be better to have a recognised LB than Downing he's just a waste of space. I wasnt too impressed by Pepe, he nearly made a right hash of the first free kick from 45 yards staight at him and he should have done a lot better for the second goal, the deflection was pretty minimal so the ball was never heading towards his left corner so I dont know why he was moving in that direction, poor wall set up, poor positioning and poor movement.

where's Kuyt, Maxi and Meirelles

Yes Meirelles was a stupid one to let go and Maxi had another season left in him and at least Kuyt could score

you forget bellamy aswell

he let go of too many goalscoring threats in the summer...i know some of them wanted to go, but hey if your under contract and your told to stay you stay and work hard
