That report just concludes that we are a team in a tactical transition, but it also shows that Suarez and Gerrard are lacking in this system. Gerrard for me is just past it and the sooner we start phasing him out of the team the better. He's been a fantastic servant, but the fact remains that age and injuries have taken their toll and it's getting to the point where Gerrard is more detrimental to the team than beneficial. Luis Suarez seems to be struggling with life in the Premiership and I find him to be highly selfish as well, I wouldn't mind it if Suarez was clinical in a Liverpool shirt, but he's not. We definitely need to bring in a proven goalscorer, someone who can just linger around the opposition box and get goals that way.

that tactical analysis was quite interesting, thanks woof.
wenger got it spot on defensively the way he packed the center, he made it practically impossible for us to pass through them and forced us into the wide area`s. they werent bothered about us having the ball out there because when we crossed it it was to a five foot seven CF and they had big CB`s.
i think a lot of teams will have a look at that and adopt the same tactics, especially with our lack of striking options, there`s not much we can do to combat that.

Wenger who is often tactically inept got it spot on for a change. Still sounds weird that an Arsenal team would WANT wingers to have the ball and welcome crosses into their own box because this has always been their achilles heel. But they knew we were impotent in the air. The Ar5e played well unlike when they mugged us off last year. Was surprised how good Arteta was, always thought of him as more attacking. Anyway hopefully Sahin and Allen can build up a good understanding in midfield. Our mf has never been the same since Alonso left.
