Borini should thank god that thing went in.  Should have gotten a foot on it for his hatrick.

That's Kelly's goal. Great work Martin. That's exactly why Downing is a full back, so he can make a run like Kelly, but instead he's still passing sideways.

we score the lamest goals. lol but I'll take anything right now. borini definitely cannot lead the line by himself. this is a game Andy Carroll should have been in.

sterling could be a 30 million dollar player one day.

Obviously Downing has learned something about defending from Enrique.

I can't believe how many times Borini has been incorrectly called offside in this week. Linesmen have been really poor.

At least we won... I'm kind of tired of saying that on games like this one. Better than creating 30 chances but still losing at the end of the game though.

He doesn't really round his runs off.  Makes them very direct so that when the linesman is taking the glance to see when the ball is being played, Borini is getting the quick jump and therefore it looks offside to the ref.  Unfair, of course, but it's something he may have to adjust to.  Maybe rounding his run just a little.

Allen looked good when he came on.  He was able to control the ball and make space for himself with his first touch, the rest of our midfield all had to control with their first touch then found that hearts had closed them down and were forced to play the ball back towards our goal.  If Rodgers want to play this passing football he will have to get them controling the ball and taking it into space with the first touch otherwise we just loose momentum.
