Our team's not even that bad. But the geordies are high and we are about as low as it gets. Every post read on these forums these days reflects the mood of our players on the pitch.

If Liverpool football club gave me a 5 year contract which saw me take home 60,000 a week in wages, I'd be up for every football match. Players have a responsibility to perform for their employers, they're not doing that and they should be ashamed of themselves.

THough our players may not be world class, they are well capable of doing better than what they're doing now. I'd say, it's Kenny's poor management. I suspect they're are not cooperating with him for whatever reason.

Kenny got this terribly wrong again. The setup was horrible and the result was almost given from the start. There is no game plan, no formation just 11 players being told to go for it 100 %. Gerrard is terrible in the middle (but he prefers to play there and Kenny is such a weak manager so he lets him), Carroll offers nothing - rather he break down any move with his poor touch and lack of football-intelligence. Why not try Kuyt and Maxi - two proven players - although not world beaters but thay have the intelligence others lack. Kenny is a beaten guy now. Being exposed time and again, having wasted all that money putting the clubs future at risk and hurting the owners pockets big time. This is his final game. Time to step down and put the club first.

It's a period of transition ;)
It doesn't matter if we finish 14th in the league, Kenny will all of a sudden become a tactical genius next season and we will go up 10 spots in the league....

How exactly would you ensure every profressional footballer remain on a constant high then?

By threatening them with the door if they don't perform. Every Liverpool player every season should be fighting for their future at the club. If a footballer doesn't want to fight for his future by giving 100% every match and by delivering consistent performances then bring in someone else who will. I'm sick to death of watching footballer's walk into this club and treat it as a holiday camp.
