Liverpool v Norwich 5.30pm KO 22nd Oct

Well the last match thread I started we beat the bitters 2-0. Norwich are going great guns in the prem at the moment sitting in ninth and just 3 points behind ourselves. They have won 3 out of the last 4 only losing to the scumbuckets because of some very lack-lustre finishing.

At 7.15 we could be 6 points clear of them or even level!! I predicted a draw against the bitters and we won. I'm not supersticious but I don't wanna upset this very ephemeral trend and am gonna' sit on the fence again and say 2-2  :p

Saw them play once or twice this season and seemed like a hard team to score against so if we don't take our chances we're screwed. Won't predict the score but it will be close. As for the line up:

                      Reina

    Kelly      Carra    Agger     Enrique

      Henderson  Gerrard   Adam

      Suarez    Carroll    Downing

Norwich won't be easy & could easily cause an upset if we don't show them some respect.

2-1 with a very late winner from Suarez.

Norwich have played very well their last few games.  They essentially outplayed man u at OT.  We are going to have to fight for this one.  It's gonna be a close one, unless we can bag a couple goals early.  I think if we grab a couple early then their heads will drop and it will just be about how many.

well they certainly won't come to park the bus like some teams so that could play into our hands. they've given united and chelsea excellent games away from home this season so shouldn't be underestimated but we should still have too much quality.

carroll needs to start and if he does i fancy him to score again. bellamy has been criminally underused so far and should play a more prominent part and it'll be good to see henderson get a runout in central midfield with lucas suspended. i think we're more likely to see gerrard in central midfield with suarez and carroll up top in a 4-4-2 though.

3-1 to us.

Why not play a 4-3-3 now that Lucas is out?  Let Bellamy Suarez and Carroll all start up top.  Hendo could play on the right, Downing on the left and Stevie in the middle.

Although I guess Adam deserves to start after playing as well as he did last game.

If the suspended Lucas manages to score from one of the players boxes, he'll be my new favorite player.

It would be quite an accomplishment.  Hell, it's probably just as likely to happen even if he were playing

This is good on the Norwich offal;

"Opponents' one to watch: Steven Gerrard
The Liverpool captain is one of the most decorated players in the game, and is without doubt one of the most talented midfielders of his generation. He is adored by Liverpool fans, and is probably most fondly remembered for his incredible performance in Istanbul during the 2005 Champions League Final win over AC Milan.
The experienced England international joined Liverpool as a schoolboy and hasn't looked back since. He now has 85 Barclays Premier League goals for the Anfield side and will be key to Kenny Dalglish's plans this season.
After capping off a long injury lay-off with a goal against Manchester United last weekend, Gerrard looks to be close to firing on all cylinders once again for the Reds, which will be a concern for Paul Lambert's side.
It will be a tough task to keep Steven Gerrard quiet in that Liverpool midfield, and if City can manage to do so, they'll have a great chance of getting something from the game."

Great if they're main concern is Gerrard.  We have other dynamo's as well
