Apparently no Gerrard (even on the bench).

But he is being planned a start against Brighton on Wednesday.

probably wise, maybe a bit to much for a return back into the team against spurs to be honest. However Brighton might just be what he needs to get his self back into it. Who makes way for him?

Hoping Spurs will be suffering a Euro hangover after travelling too Greece.
A 1-2 win to us  :;):

Dawson's out for them so they should have a very makeshift defence.  High tempo, pass and move, with lots of switching and swapping positions amongst the likes of Suarez, Downing, Kuyt and Henderson.  Push for an early goal and build a platform for victory.  Should be easy right? :D

If Carroll starts without Suarez: 2-0 to spurs
If Carroll & Suarez Start: 2-1 to Spurs
If Suarez starts without Carroll: 2-1 to us
If Suarez & Bellamy start: 3-1 to us

Win: a must, we need to prove this squad can beat a higher quality team thanwhat we have faced (Arsenal was at it's weakest so that does not really count!)
Draw: Shake my confidence but still have hope for 4th spot
Loss: Will spend most of my time ripping into Henderson, Carroll & possibly Adam.

well there's your scapegoat sounded out before you've even seen anything  :Oo:

We need to watch Bale, I don't fancy Skrtel against him so will be interesting to see who Kenny plays.

My best scenario -

Carroll scores the winners and you get the clap.

I think that Carra needs to be phased out asap, surely Coates must be ready for action now. Carra has become a real liability and there is no room for sentimentality.

I also don't understand why everyone keeps laying into Carrol, give the lad a chance ffs!

Is Kelly still out?

Tomorrow is a must win for us. Need to bounce back after Stoke and Arsenal dropped points today too so good chance to widen the gap between us.

Carra or Sktel?  THey are both slow, but at least Carra doesn't always just grab the player around the neck like Skrtel does.

Something tells me our RB won't be doing much attacking against Spurs.
