Yes a must win... I would change the RB to either Johnson or Kelly... Not much else. I would still play Henderson on the right to give him more confidence... And I would play Kuyt instead of Carroll and try to pressure them up front. Carroll has no pace to do that... I'd rather use him as a supersub when they are getting tired after like 60 mins...

dam... of course manure don't have to play against him either!

Carroll needs to play this game... He did very good against Arsenal last year at the Emirates when Newcastle won 1-0.  Vermaelen isn't the biggest guy, and Squalaci and konscielny are horrible, so he will tear them apart.  Also the fact that their keeper is a bit sketchy is great for Carroll as well.

This is our chance to really get the points back from the Sunderland game.... I know we can win, we just have to play how we played in the first half for at least 75 minutes :D

Both teams will pick it up as they always do, but I really believe we've got this one.

must win nothin else is good enough, if we cant beat teams lik this weak arsenal team we can forget about top 4 this season, step up and teach these youngsters a lesson. come on confident 3 points needed. plus weve no european fatigue so there is definately no excuses, if we want european football this is the start of it.

we all can roughly pick our own liverpool line up but with arsenal losin players to injury and song and gervinho banned, what sort of line up can we expect from them.

                               szczesny
sagna             koscielny      vermaelen               traore

                          ramsay    rosicky
walcott                                                       arshavin

                        v.persie      chamakh

Yeah that doesn't look like an easy win playing @way.  I do think Saurez will run them ragged.  His fitness will be miles better this Saturday. :buttrock

too light in midfield I reckon. Last night a Udinese player managed a 50 yard run unchallenged, completely bypassed everyone in the middle of the park

Chamakh and Rosicky have been passengers lately, nevermind whoever the hell that left back is...

EDIT - according to our friends over on Arsenal Mania, that Traore came off in a reserve game because of a groin injury...

Anything but a win against this Arsenal side would be embarrassing, 3 points nothing less

I can see this being a bit of a crazy match. I think we'll win 7-5!

Just kidding. Might see some goals though. A 3-2 win leaps into my head.

It could go that way, but considering our past results with Arsenal and both clubs performances last weekend it could very well be another 0-0 or 1-1.

I truly believe we should beat them this weekend, but if we draw 0-0 or 1-1 I won't be the least bit surprised.

they have very good attacking players that can hurt us on the counter-attack.
