raced myself home to catch the 2nd half :D

fantastic display, very happy Maxi got a hattrick and well done to the boys to get the job done.

Lucas and Spearing phenomenal again :bowdown

Suarez the ''El Pistolero'' gunning down the Birmingham defense, unlucky not to get on the score sheet today he was fantastic to watch

Meireles, worked his socks off, tracked back, tackled and was involved in every attack, wonderful game from him.

Flanagan, looks like he has boundless of experience! he just needs to work on his final ball, but credit to the boy he was fantastic

Skrtel and Carragher were solid as usual and untested

Reina, ever so present and concentrated

Robinson, still has a lot to learn but has done well

Dirk Kuyt, huff and puff and huff and puff and then lousy first touch :D  well in dirk!

I'm really impressed with both Robinson and Flanagan. We may not need to dump a lot of money on fullback positions after all. Also credit to Rafa for making changes to the academy, it's starting to pay off.

Well done Maxi. Suarez though he didn't score he was a constant thorn to BC. I was impressed by Flanno, he played like he has played in that role all his life, so was Robinson. It was just like old times for Liverpool under Kenny's first tenure.

We are breathing down Spurs necks now. Anyone know if Carroll will be fit for the Newcastle game?

The atmosphere was genuinely bristling again ,Fortress Anfield is up and running once more and the fans are once again watching pass and move football the way only Liverpool can play it :D It was an excellent team performance ,but  Suarez should receive the lions share of the plaudits .....he just makes playing the beautiful game seem so effortless, a truly world class player ..... Simply cant stop eulogizing over the Lad ... special mention must also go to Lucas who was again commanding in the middle and rarely misplaced a pass ,oh and that was Spearings best game for the Reds in my opinion done all the ugly stuff with the minimum of fuss and now has an assist to his name ....
As for our new boys in defence thought both were solid and composed .....only one worry ... what's happened to Meireles another inept showing with his passing once again poor all afternoon ..... Last words must go to the man at the helm ..Kenneth Dalglish ,if there is any more heart warming sight in football than Daggerz dancing on the sidelines celebrating a goal then I have yet to see it ......
GIVE HIM THE CONTRACT NOW ,AND MAKE IT A LENGTHY  ONE  :)

It feels as though I'm flling in love with football all over again. Excellent display from all concerned today. Lucas was MOTM again. Suarez did everything but score and Maxi scored a great hatrick. Unbelievable to think that Hodgson made virtually these same group of players look like absolute dross. Pass and move has returned and the players are playing with smiles on their faces which is great to see.

Oh and the chanting for Ged was class. It's what sets this club and it's supporters apart from all others.
