dodgy selection that, wheres Aurelio? Surprised Babel hasn't got his chance today as well. Miereles on the right again as well?

Again that line up is killing for some steel in the middle of the park. Lucas and Spearing doesn't fill me with confidence. I'd put Raul there, Auerlio LB and put Jonno right wing

I trust Kenny but Johno at LB and Raul up top leaves me a bit confused.  Good to see Maxi back in though he should do well.

erm, what the hell? When he was sat in the stands watching games, do you think he was taking ANY notice at all?

Thankfeck Roy still isnt here because he would have been Lynched with the last 2 team selections

I'm really surprised that Aurelio is not playing. When Aurelio is fit it should be a straight choice between Kelly and Johnson at right back, and right now Kelly is ahead in the pecking order.

I hope we play more of a 4-3-3 with the onus on Maxi and Kuyt to link up with Torres. Prefer Meireles playing deeper and linking up with the front men with late runs.

Yep that lineup confused me.... lets hope Dalglish knows what he is doing

So, I guess we'll be lining up:

                    Reina

Kelly      Skrtel       Agger     Johnson

                    Lucas

Kuyt      Merieles     Spearing    Maxi

                   Torres

Hmmmm, not sure what Aurelio has done to not be playing, and what about Shelvey/Pacheco/Cole instead of Spearing? Though, the local lad in the derby makes sense.

Oh well, good to see Maxi back. Hope the Kop is rocking and the team gets out there and plays some football.

Spearing has got way more in terms of steel than Lucas or Meireles. Not the answer long term but the way our midfield has been by passed in the last few games, he's worth a gamble in my opinion. I think we'll see Kuyt out right with Meireles just behind Torres. I'm hoping that Meireles isn't on the right as he's absolutely wasted there

None of us know what is going on day in day out on the training pitch, we all clammer for Aurelio but maybe he just can't cut it. Maybe he can't make it up and down the pitch for 90min. As for PK after his performances and his mums outburst I don't KK will ever look at him as a Liverpool player.

Spearing is a great shout, I know I would rather have him than Poulsen.

Plus I think we will go 4-3-3 (Lucas, Merilies and Spearing Centre mid. Kuyt and Maxi playing of Torre) with the ball and 4-5-1 without it.

The Liverpool team in full is:

                 Reina

Kelly    Skrtel    Agger    Johnson

           Lucas    Spearing
Kuyt                             Maxi
               Meireles

                Torres

Subs: Gulacsi, Kyrgiakos, Cole, Aurelio, Shelvey, Pacheco, Babel.

Everton are missing Cahill and are playing Beckford and Anichebe upfront.

I'm feeling a bit more confident now

:D

I wonder how many times kuyts first touch will fuck up our possession today, I'll guess at 6.

If our defence struggle against these lot we may as well sell them all and start from scratch. Stop Arteta and Everton will struggle to create chances.

got to agree CHL, our defence surely can't struggle against that front two, surely not. That said though Johnson would struggle with anyone  :D
