BTW ,did Cole get the ball from Torres or did it hit a defender?

Johnson had a good game tbf, just that slip up at the end.

Hit a bolton defender by Maxi and cole put it away

Fair enough i saw the last 10 minutes and it looked as Johnson body was kidnapped by the predator ugly cousin ,horrible plays.

Thnx

The ridiculous thing about this season is, is that if we win our two games in hand, we will sit in 6th place on 31 points. Yet we have lost 8 games already this season..........................

I agree, this win shouldnt keep him in the job.

If tonight was his judgement day then stevie gerrard has saved his job with that performance. Roy might not have brought him on till 70 mins if it werent for Meireles getting injured!

WTF!  if my auntie had balls she'd be my uncle!

If and buts. Gerrard saving a managers :censored:. Well, like that has never happened before!

Well done red men overjoyed at the win.

Are we happy to settle for scrappy wins these days? this kinda result stinks of mid table mediocrity tbh. The win papers over the cracks again.

I think you're discounting the quality Bolton have.  They are a tough side for anyone in the league.  What really hurts is the Wolves match, who lost to West Ham today by a few goals, if(when) Roy goes, that will be the match people point to.  BTW Man u were extremely lucky to get even a point today against West Brom, much less the full 3.  The league is as close top to bottom as I've ever seen.  3 points is 3 points, and we did play some good football in the 2nd half.

Its what most mangers would say when asked questions about a game at 1-1 when you are injury time. Too many are now going into overdrive on every word.

Jesus, if shanks was around now, he'd be hated for some of his qoutes etc.

3 points people. Fight another day.

Weird sensation us winning has become. I'm happy but also worried about our next match, worried well come out and play awful again. I'm on pins and needles, roy has no ambition though he still has to go.

We dominated the game today in the second half, Bolton looked shellshocked, as they should, that hasnt been done to them very often with Coyle at the helm, a very good performance by us today, I would not agree this was a scrappy game, I thought we pressed and played very well, we are getting let down by a few players who break up promising moves, primary example being Kuyt, he does however try hard to redeem himself, if only his talent was as high as his desire.

Has this bought Hodgson some time? probably, we are now up to 9th a few more wins would see us 6th, lets see what happens in the transfer market, a couple of wide players and I can see us turning a corner, well done redmen, enjoyed what I saw today on the most part, and well done to Hodgson for motivating them at half time.
