Who knows, maybe Rafa is resting him for the weekned. If the match is won then there is no point putting him in harms way for the sake of it.

Hicks has told Rafa not to play him so we dont have to make increased payments to Roma based on performances!  :buttrock

a professional job done. But we could be without Skrtel, Johnson, and the Greek for Sunday, which means Kelly to start at RB I presume.

I can see all the credit and plaudits flooding in for a decent professional performance - silence during victory shows a lot about the mentality and state of the forum at the moment

I think your average fan has simply been numbed by the season mate, so many expectations coming in so it's hard to get really excited about progressing past these guys.

Decent professional performance from the lads. Good to see Babel get 90 minutes and produce a bit of magic which will have done his confidence the world of good. The lad MUST start the next game. Benny had a decent game and was good to see Stevie get a goal. Cracking strike from Masch and he deserves it because he's been comfortably our best player the past two months, been playing like a Captain for me.

I can understand why people are asking the Aquilani question. Hands up who thinks Rafa regrets buying him? I've got both up! Fair play to Rafa in a way though, he's not afraid to leave a player sitting on the bench, even though he spent all that money.
