Bav - try the MacDonalds on County Rd.

If you get there for 2pm, walk up (follow the crowd) behind the Aldi supermarket.

Top of the road on the left is a good little boozer, it'll look packed but you get served straight away.
Most people stand outside if it's nice, and it's due to be sunny Saturday.

Thanks mate. I'm going to be staying the night now so will just use parking at the hotel. Makes sense to stick around rather than jus head back straight after. Which pubs are good for after the game and in the evening?

Mascherano is a major doubt apparently.

You staying in a hotel in Liverpool ? Mate, every time I try to get a cheap and cheerful hotel on the night of a game, it's impossible....Even the feckin' dump of a Travelodge charges thru the roof for the hovels they call "rooms"...
Where do you - or others on this forum - normally stay ? I was in the Devonshire once and the place was an absolute kip....Going by what I read on the website it looked reasonable enough and clean etc. but it was just a hole ! (I'm not stalking you mate, just wondering if there are places to be found that I haven't yet come across on the web..)

Straight after the game I recommend this place, The Grove:(letter A)

Town has more than a good choice of places to drink Saturday night mate. Depends what kind of pub you like.

I'll go with the same scoreline but i fancy Deadly to get the goal. It could be a stroll IF we get the early goal, if not I fancy it will be a tough match against a side playing out of the skins with a whole lot of adrenalin.

Despite Burnley's decent start I think this will be a walk in the park game. I think we will win comfortably 3-0. Burnley will "run around a lot and work hard" but it won't be nearly enough to trouble us.

I cant see anything other than 3 points much as i respect Burnley! They had a great start but I feel they were playing on adrenaline as it was such a big thing for them to be in the EPL!Id say the result against Chelsea will have put their feet back on the ground.
They will try and play football rather than defend and credit to them for that.Im sure their manager will be telling them to get as many set plays as possible too,I'd do the same, given our recent frailties.

I dont care what the score is as long as we win..i just hope we do not concede from a set piece if they get a goal.

Should be an easy enough 3 points, hopefully City can take something from arsenal and spurs from utd
Spurs v UTD teatime should be a cracker, looking forward to that after watching us! :)

Bit worried we may get overrun in central midfield if we play Lucus and Masch. Both would have arrived back late from South America so I would rather have Gerrard in there.

                         Reina

Johnson    Carragher    Skrtel    Insua

                 Gerrard  Mascherano

           Kuyt     Benayoun     Riera

                         Torres
Voronin
Babel
Pacheco
Lucus
Kyrgiakos
Aurelio
Cavalieri
