Kelly should be ahead of San Jose and Ayala who were both nervous and caught out of position too often.
Lucas looked threatening and obviously scored when he was given licence to break forward.
Torres isn't on form yet although he's close.
Babel looks more aggressive although his first touch let him down.
Friendly results are meaningless but Rafa should be sacked

Loosing at home is never good but when they were 2-0 up after 30 ish minutes I feared the worst. We actually played alright, just need to get the defence together a bit more. If Carra, Agger and Skittles are all out injured then we have a big big problem.

Babel coming on for Kuyt opened up the game and increased the tempo and have to say Insua looked very good going forward...

Posted: Sat Aug 08, 2009 4:56 pmoh and Lucas... goal well taken and improved on his first half display.. looked alot better in the second half especially when he wasNT relied on as much to take the ball forward from the back... gave him room to move without the ball and i think its what he does best...
