I think he was aiming for Coutinho. I really don't get that staying back thing like Sturridge did. I believe it's best to follow the run of the winger. The midfielders should be those to take it on the follow up.

disagree ,again ,no sense for your 2 forwards running in parallel to the cutting player. Daniel created free space as expected and should really have gotten the ball. Coutinho was totally covered.

Shouldn't that be an advantage?

this game will be decided by the attackers ,let's not count on our defense. We need to regain control of the game. Too much spurs possession in the last 10 minutes.

The way he's refereed makes me think he's almost a spurs fan. Every 50-50 to spurs.

Anyone think hat Reina would've saved that header?

Jones' reactions aren't even close to Reina's

Bale should have been covered, but he was out of the pitch moments before he made a cross, so I guess I can understand the mistake. It will be tough to score another against these and maybe even tougher to defend for another 45 minutes.

1-1 probably fair but bad time to concede. Shouldn't have been a free against Gerrard.

Sigurdsson should have scored just before that - the only time they truly opened us up.

Coutinho looks a brilliant player. Very like Aimar from a few years back like a few others have said.

This one could go either way. Sturridge not having much impact, I'd be tempted to bring another midfielder on for him to regain control in the middle.

Doing alright but Spurs getting too much ball in midfield so Downing off
and Hendo on for me at HT.
