Totally agree mate. A team full of our kids should be able to beat a team who is doing well in Serie A about 10-0, fecking  3-1 is a joke.

Not good enough Roy  If we don't beat Chelsea by at least six clear goals he should just feck off.

What the Feck are you on about? Didn't we look like $hit first half? didn't you know we will look like $hit when all our major players are out? didn't Roy know that? That was BS selection and thank god we have Gerrard and a shaky Italian defence to thank for the great comeback.

Feel free to enlighten me then ,address my arguement rather then me. But you can't because you can't argue with Facts - Because we were $hit with the strating lineup and we were much better as soon as Gerrard joined..So I ask again why pick a crappy lineup from the beginning?? Why was Torrs in the Stands? Why did we play 2 Defensive CM? What is Meireless exact function on the pitch? Roy tactics are yet to be showned and untill his system kicks in he must play his strongest 11 everytime.

I actually think Roy's correct mark is a 7. We seem to forget that in the 75th minute we were lead (albeit I agree we were looking strong and the goal should have been a matter of time), and that in the 85th minute it was still 1-1 (and this time we looked like we would settle for a draw) and only a great run by Johnson gave us the much needed second goal.

He may have started with kids, which in itself is not a bad idea, but his changes were inspired and inspirational. I would give him a 7 for the starting 11, a 9 for the changes, a 5 for the bench (no striker to come for Ngog when he was injured ?) and a 7 for the general tactical setup (because playing only with Central midfielders is not exactly my idea, and our goals were more a result of individual efforts and poor defending, not because we were so bl00dy brilliantl).

A 7 for the starting 11, do me a favour. At home to Napoli with TWO defensive mid-fielders, one of which is Poulsen!

Roy realised his mistake and brought on the only man able to rectify the situation - Gerrard. For that move alone he redeemed himself.

Reina - 6 (Nothing to do)
Johnson - 6
Carragher - 7 (Reliable at the back)
Kyrgiakos - 7 (Attacked well, Strong at the back)
Konchesky - 6 (Didn't do much)
Shelvey - 7 (Good for an 18 year old newbie)
Spearing - 7 (Played with passion, solid in a tackle)
Poulsen - 5 (Played like Poulsen)
Jovanovic - 5 (Didn't do much, but didn't do much wrong before being taken off)
Meireles - 6 (Decent player, not sure where his strongest position is tho)
Ngog - 5 (Did his best in an isolated loan strikers postion)

Subs
Gerrard (Jovanovic) - 10 (Kept Roy's job safe for another week)
Eccleston (Poulsen) - 5 (Didn't get to do much, but has good pace if he can use it)
Lucas (Ngog) - 5 (Did he even come on)
