LIVERPOOL'S MONDAY PREMIERSHIP RECORD

P47 W22 D13 L12 F78 A57 PTS 79 (Won 46.81%)

We do better on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays, but haven't had to suffer Mondays so much as we had been playing in the Champions League.

Unfortunately you are correct in our last win, you could have mentioned four of our last five Monday nights have ended in draws and our last two were against Brum at home (D2-2) and villa (L1-3) earlier this season, both games we should have won. Those probably because we didn't have to play CL qualifiers and because of poor performances in the League Cup at a guess.

You'll not be too surprised we've never played Wigan on a Monday, we've won three of our four Premiership games there conceding just the one goal in a 1-1 draw

I hate them.

I'll be able only to watch the second half and I'll have to wait til tueday to watch the whole game.

It's time to think on doing a decent end of season and secure that 4th place, and in Wigan only 3 points will be good enough.

Too right Sabre, we need to take the bull by the horns and hit a winning run which will secure 4th. Not losing might be ok to keep us in the fight for 4th, but sooner or later we need to take it and the only way to do that is to win, win and then win again.

Should be interesting to see the new pitch at the DW Stadium. The state of it has been shocking in recent weeks and this will be the first time it has been used since being relaid. Hopefully it should allow our players to express themselves and if that is possible we should have little problem against Wigan. I fear a bad pitch could cause problems for us, players would be on edge and Wigan posess some real bruisers who could cause damage. Ultimately though I am convinced we should have enough for victory.

the way this season has gone, if the pitch hadn't been relaid you could bet your bottom dollar that torres would have got injured.

2-0 to the Wigan Warriors LOL

Scharner and Rodallega to score.

That will leave you a point behind us with our 2 game advantage.

oops. I forgot to add Torres hobbles off after 10 mins with a groin injury that keeps him out for the rest of the season....Never mind.

Now in reality. I reckon 1-2 to you guys.

Rodallega - Torres, Kuyt.

Still think 4th spot is ours to lose though. Shoulda kept hold of Bellamy when you had him and pushed harder to get Tevez. Torres and Tevez up front being fed by Gerrard....BBRRRR thats frightening.
