Walcott could be a world beater if he is given a run a striker in the right team

I hope we get him, however i think sturridge is more likely

Heard from a very good source that the Walcott deal is done and will sign in January.  Looks like this is definately going to happen

i really hope so but I have not seen any evidence to suggest it will happen.

One thing this forum produces is "very good sources" that rarely live up to the claim.

Walcott and Huntelaar would be great January signings.
We would then have some good options up front.
I wouldn't mind Llorente in the summer as well but that might be greedy

I would be very surprised if Walcott came in as I personally feel he will
opt to stay at Arsenal.

Hope Im wrong because I like the lad and think he would be a big upgrade
for us in attack.

Walcott sits on bench, we're going to sign him,
Arsene puts his arm around Walcott, we're not going to sign him,
Walcott plays well, we're going to sign him,
Walcott plays *****, we're not going to sign him ....

Man, I'm bored of the Walcott talk. Maybe a survey would be interesting though, opinion seems divided. If we could have him for less than 10M and not outrageous wages then yes please sign him. But there are many others like him and a 'proper' striker is far more improtant in Januray. Even a loan signing to tide us over til the summer when we can flog big andy and ditch joe cole and downing would do the trick.

Walcott. What a joke. No end product from 99% of what he does..
A one-trick player, that's all.

He tends to have 2-3 very good games a season. After those he gets hyped up and somehow people forget all the other games where he is pretty Sh*t.

with the club ruling a move for huntelaar out in tonights echo i think the odds on us signing walcott in january must have shortened, especially with rodgers talking about wanting mobile strikers.
i just hope his wage demands put FSG off, i`d rather have someone like darren bent than walcott and i`m not particularly keen on him but at least he`s a goalscorer by trade, not a winger.

Walcott is a converted winger, his trade was a striker previous to Arsenal.

You won't find more of a one trick pony than Darren bent
