<edited> It was moved to the rumor mill already  :wwww

He has already sounded out thoughts of leaving. he has 1 year left on his contract and has not signed a new one. if he refuses even more, the club will be forced to offload him in this window to salvage some value left on his contract. No one will buy a player in the January window if they know 6 months later they can get them on a free.

Also for those who doubt his ability - let's look at the stats.

Only 4 players (Nani, Silva, A Young & van Persie) have assisted more PL goals than Theo Walcott in the past two seasons, Walcott is on 15.

Very good player - not worth 100 grand a week - let city pay those wages

To be fair mate, no player is worth 100 grand a week.  Unfortunately that seems to almost be the starting point for players of Walcott's ability.  This is the downfall of City and Chelsea's Megarich ownership.

The ridiculous transfer fees are one thing, but the wages they pay out are what seals the deal.  And thus puts anyone trying to run a club in a proper financially resposible manner, at a severe disadvantage to signing world class players.

Why would we want another Babel? Both of them have no brains and no bottle.

Did you just try to compare Walcott to Babel?  C'mon Man.

They're very similar... Walcott is young and somewhat talented, Babel used to be young and rides in babelcoptors.

Both also have the occasional match where they look really good, and a lot of matches where they dont do anything at all.

Still as deluded as ever are we?
Going  on about Walcott and Jonhson  coming  :no

They would want both between 80-100 grand easily and they belong to CL clubs and they belong to clubs that would give them away
to Norwich before seeing them go to us.
But please go on dreaming...

No we're just having a discussion in the RUMOUR mill

They would want both between 80-100 grand easily

So what? this is football in 2012, players are paid way too much, get over it

and they belong to CL clubs

Which is fuk all use to them if they don't get selected to play in the CL.

and they belong to clubs that would give them away to Norwich before seeing them go to us.

now your just being silly. Your saying a club like Man City would rather give Adam Johnson to Norwich for FREE than sell him to Liverpool for £20 million? get yersen off you whopper

But please go on dreaming...

We will because we're in the RUMOUR mill thread where rumours are posted and plebs like us get to hope and wish for them to come true

Okay so we shouldnt go for a top class player and we shouldnt go for middle rate players?? Who sohuld we go for then??

Oh and let me remind you we signed Luis Suarez of a Champions league side and gave him close to 100,000 a week wages when we was in the europa league

Last time i checked, Johnson wasnt getting any game time at city and was considering his options, so unless Manure or chelsea want him i say we are in with a shout.

i dont want walcott or johnson.
english players arent renowned for their creativity, if we are looking for a creative player i`d rather we looked abroad, we wont pay ridiculously inflated prices either.
