I know this should be in rumour thread but on twitter sky bet have shortened odds of Walcott joining LFC have gone to EVENS

handy player, but very little end product. Is he a winger?  (he can't cross) or is he a striker? (his finishing is 50/50 at best)

Then why didn't you put it in the transfer thread?

I've been hearing that if we Can't sign Adam Johnson, we'll go for Walcott, not the I really believe either of those.

Anyway, I would be pretty happy with a Walcott deal, as long as Rogers can fix the garbage that Arsenal have turned him into.

Johnson won't leave City, he's on mega money and there's no way we'd match it

Walcott - 11 goals 13 assists last season - that's end product

last season was one of his better ones, but i'm unconviced that he's a world class winger.  I would still take him though, because he would be an improvement over Downing

we need someone more consistent, i suspect arsenal are thinking the same thing.
i`d rather give sterling the chance to prove he can step up to the plate.

I would rather have both so we have options - certainly need more than Sterling for next season
