Surely they wont allow Spurs to take this lad off us as well.

I can take losing out to the big hitters but if FSG and Rodgers
bend over and allow Tottenham to land Ramirez it will be
really annoying.

They have to raise the bar a little bit on this one just for prides
sake otherwise we will never get anyone as players wont see it
as prudent but more like cheap and lacking ambition.

No advocating mental money but at some point you have to
gamble a little bit to make progress.

Saves on disappointment later - dissapointment that turns nasty against people at the club because a player in a rumour wasn't signed !!

is that how you see it? someone posts a rumour that we're linked with Tevez and because it doesn't come true they turn nasty against the people at the club?

I think your about 100 mile off the mark there benny lad, sounds like your making stuff up now to hide your miserable outlook on life.

The guy fits right into the FSG policy. Exactly what we need a wing player and the fact negotiations over dempsey have been quiet all points at the lad joining us.

15 million pounds is the figure i hear being talked about. I hope we can just thrash out the deal to get the lad here before any other clubs really take an intrest

Wasn't too impressed with him in the GB match, thought he was one of they're worst players, didn't look like a winger to me either.  Has anyone got a more balanced view on him from watching him longer term?

Heard a recent World Football Phone In on radio 5 with Tim Vickery and he was asked about Ramirez and he didn't rate him.  Based on Vickery's knowledge and track record I'd be worried if he came.  Especially for £15M.

his main reservation was with regards to his ability to adapt to the physical nature of the league and the lack of time on the ball over  there. he's a very languid player in his style although he does have a wand of a left foot.
