I personally would love to sign Steven Defour as his exactly the type of player we need.Strong in the tackle,playmaker,young.Perfect!

Very good player who is the archetypal deep lying playmaker, a player of this quality is something we have missed since Xabi Alonso departed the only doubt I have is not his ability but how his body would cope in the much more tougher Premier League.

I have watched this lad Defour play once or twice and you are right when you say that he is a good defensive playmaking CM and the type of player we need. My only concern would be the standard of the Belgian league as it is p*ss poor and we have already seen someone who was a star in the Belgian League join LFC (Jovanovic) and be a complete flop in the EPL...

Didn't he just sign a new deal? Anyone who wants to buy him will have to pay top dollar now. Anyway I think utd will end up going for Rodwell.

Defour could be a top option. Young and looks talented, but Jova was a top player in the Belgium league and look what happened there. There's obviously concerns about him, but I think he could be a class signing.

wiki reckons we have pre contractual agreement, no reference like so you might not want to trust it 
Might go on Messi's page and agree a contract with him as well
