How many moons ago was it we were last linked with him?!? Another ageing player to add to the rumours and signings, although £4m-£6m wouldn't be a bad fee for a striker even of his age. Only seven league goals last season, but in 19 appearances. A groin injury kept him out for much of the 08/09 season, something I'd bear in mind before signing him, although his injuries and Torres' may well dovetail nicely!  :D

All that of course assuming he isn't just another in the 100 rumours or so a summer that come to nothing. Reckoning is Mascherano may be off to Barcelona, that of course could be true if they wanted Fabregas and can't get him, but then the figures they were quoting for Fabregas I can't see them matching for Mascherano :no

I would agree that Trezeguet is too old, a few years ago he would have been an awesome addition. but not now. Look at this list of clubs after him - the likes of Hercules (who?), West Brom and Zaragoza. We are best to avoid.

Trezequet is still a good player though.  The Juve boss doesn't care for him much, but he could still be a decent replacement for resting Torres.  I would rather spend the cash on him then Koncheskey. We need another striker more than another LB in my opinion.
