Yesterday morning Andy Townsend reported that Martin O'Neil has agreed to become Liverpool manager in the summer. During the 10:00-13:00 show Andy said on more than one occasion that Benitez was to leave Liverpool with O'Neil replacing the spaniard. I know this is only supposition but would be a positive move after the final few months we have had.

I didn't realise he said that.
Wouldn't want him anyway tbh. Someone show me how his track record is better than Rafa's?

Think it was because he was bitter about us actively pursuing Gareth Barry wasnt it ?
Anyway i agree, i dont like him as a person and think he is just a decent manager.
I think he would get more out of players than Rafa does. But tactically he is not great and the style of football would be direct and not great on the eye.
He is also a bad moaning c'nt that takes ages to get over things - which could easily affect the team.

i'm all for a change, but only as long as its the right change. if rafa going means we get a mcleish, or an o'neill, or a hodgson then i prefer rafa to stay. he's a better manager than those three put together.

That comment was all because rafa had wound him up over barry. It was very tongue in cheek!
I'd take him. a very good manager
