This report in the Metro reckons AC Milan are wanting to sign Fernando Torres if they can sell Alexandre Pato to Real Madrid or Chelsea. It is worrying that the vultures are starting to circulate around him. The report reckons £40 million would get Torres - i would be gutted, absolutely gutted if we lost the Spaniard.

Not a chance that he will go to them for that amount, maybe if they double it.

think of this scenario hicks and gillette are selling up. Milan come in with a 60plus million offer. The owners agree and tell rafa. Rafa says no way in hell else il resign. The owners reply thanks rafa thats another 16million will save? Could this happen?

40M? Not in a million years
Torres is worth 3 times that imo.
How about 600million and new owners?

Again I'm confident that our new chairman will find a buyer that can build the stadium and stay for the long term, that means NOT selling your best assets. Any buyer can see Tores is a massive money making asset so selling him would be nothing short of crazy

If Torres is on the market, Citeh will outpay anyone.
More journalistic gossip.

The new chairman has already stated that we do not need to sell any of our good players so i think this is a non-starter. Thank god!!

Torres has played less than 1/2 our games over the past 2 seasons. An offer of 70m makes sense and we should sell at that price.
