Think Aguero will go to a top club in Spain or Italy or maybe PSG and do really well. But there is a reason City are not offering him a new contract. He's been playing in the PL a long time and the wear and tear from this league has taken it's toll on his body. The PL is physically the most demanding league in the world.

I'd be looking very closely at that Patson Daka. He scored 3 goals in 11 minutes today. When we played Salzburg he was a real handful.. strong, quick and deadly. We dropped the ball on Haaland and went for the cheaper option in Minimino and that didn't turn out too well. We should try and tie up a deal up quick before his valuation rises too high.

Depends on price I guess. With our recruitment being data driven I can't see us spending big sums of money based on goals scored outside the big 5 leagues. He's 22 not 17 so isn't some wonderkid and his record in European football is pretty poor. Up to £20mil he might be worth a punt but if we're talking double that then we'll be buying from England, Spain, Germany, France, or Italy, not Austria.

Keita was a punt based on data and see how well that's worked out.......

Come on mate, all of our signings are partly based on data, and you could say most of them were punts, execpt for Thiago maybe.

As for Daka, looking at his stats I wouldn't mind signing him for the right price and have him replace Origi.

A big part of the data driven model is pass succession rate.  Just above 50% and you could be on our list.

I honestly think we were unlucky with Naby. We Overpaid for sure but there was nothing to suggest he would be a total train wreck. Still his time here is up so get what you can and move on. No point in holding out for a fee that wont come so better off taking what a club offers before he does a bosman.

Wrong. We scouted him for nearly 2 years.

I'm not sure Luke, in the LFC tv show they were saying that his stats really stand out and that he has the ability to be a great player etc...

Alot of reports coming out today that Konate has agreed personal terms of 85k a week. And apparently his release clause is lower than £40m.

We never buy players based off just the data or just the eye test. There is a whole bunch of things to go into decision making on players. The idea that we spent £50mil on a player purely because he's stats looked good in Excel is silly.

On Keita, I actually think he's a quality player who has showed that in games. But since he was forced to play for Guinea in the African Nations when he was recovering from injury, he just keeps breaking down and can never get a run of games.

I like Konate. I think he'd be a great signing for the reported £34m release clause.

Can't say I've seen much of him at all but I'll take your word for it

Seems like his another sicknote, injury prone and has been out for lengthy periods. Well to be fair he will fit right in and will enjoy playing Fifa with Gomez and Matip in the recovery room.

With out type of training and what Klopp expects from players, I'd hope we don't go for this lad. He will be out just like Matip,

Yeah that record is a real concern based on the fact that we have 2 lads coming back off serious injuries already. Given the physicality in the prem and how Klopp works the players it is a worry.  I dont think our own lads will come back like it never happened so maybe too big of a risk at this time.

Do people really think Kabak is that much better than Phillip's?. It's a 4th choice player we are looking at so pointless spending 18mil on a lad who isnt really any better than what we have.
