I’m surprised the owners don’t see the importance of the situation, also trust in Klopp’s eye for a player. Even with a financial crisis there is money to be made if you buy clever, which Klopp tends to do.

What I don't get if he has a release clause of 37m in summer and we could get him now for 55m its a no brainer.He's world class already at 22 and is just what we need to save our season. These 2 at the heart next season is mouthwatering. Give them Nabi and 30m now ffs

I agree give them Keita back and snap the dude, heck will even go e them Origi for free. A signing like that could make the difference to our fortunes this season.
Pains me to see us drifting away from top spot and what makes it worse is looking at the shower or shyte up top.

Sometimes you need to bite the bullet and this is one of those times, if he goes to ManUre that will make them much stronger. Owners need to get this deal done. We will lose more than the 50 million ( including loss in shirt sales) if we don’t make the CL, surely a no brainer COVID or not.

Fans will be back in stadiums when the new season starts so revenues will increase again. Failing to get past the knockouts of the CL will mean a lot less money and if we don't qualify for next years then it will have a whole heap of implications for the squad. This notion of waiting till the summer to land the big players will go out the window if that happens.

It just beggars belief that they wont get a player in considering what's at stake. It isn't like they have backed Klopp to the hilt either and he has been getting unbelievable results with a poor squad. He has had to flog it to death as well because the cover is always crocked and the rest is kids that he doesn't want to play. Way to many windows have passed as well without additions being added.

Apparently we have now joined the top 5 richest clubs in the world but still haven't the money to buy a much needed player. 

Have we developed some phobia as well about selling players 

Honestly I don’t think the owners like the pressure of being top dogs, and would much rather succeed from a place of scarcity, I.e as the underdog

Obviously I'm not a football manager but from the bundesliga games I saw at the start of the season, he wasn't terribly convincing. Then I think his first international callup he was muck. Maybe for the latter he was nervous. But £50m to me is a helluva lot for this guy. Not sure myself he's worth it

He must be getting on a bit if Jurgen knows him from his Mainz days, then again a canny old pro who can hit the ground running is exactly what we need.
