Well the good news is, Robbo has started for Scotland against Israel, so he's not injured. The bad news is, he's started for Scotland against Israel...

Also read that Rhys Williams has been injured as well, and that Fabinho and Thiago didn't train with the team today. ALSO, Salah has came out positive again for Covid, so he misses the next 3 games apparently.

Been linked with Ajax defender Perr Schuurs. He's the 21 year old Center back that had a brilliant game against us in the champions league. He's the same mould as De Ligt and would cost around £27m.

He did look good that lad, he made one mistake when he lost possession at the halfway line and left Ajax in a bit of sh1t but apart from that he looked imperious. Hard to tell from one game of course but if he plays like that every week then yeah I’d love us to sign him.

He's saying he's not ready to leave Ajax though

He's strong and surprisingly quick but he looks like one of those defenders who is constantly scrambling around making last ditch challenges because he doesn't read the game that well. Bit of the Phil Jones about him. Reactive rather than proactive.

How many CB’s read the game well at 21 though mate? The lad is a phenomenal athlete, the idea of being isolated out wide one on one with Sadio would be enough to give most CB’s nightmares but it was water off a ducks back to that kid. I think Jurgen could mould him into something special, the raw materials are certainly there. Unfortunately given Mark’s post what I’ve just said looks immaterial anyway.
