All this talk of money to one side, financially the guy is already set for life.

The fella could go to any team he wants too, guess it's up to him now as to what his priorities are. Even more money or playing for the world champions in the toughest league on the planet.

Anybody know if he's even half way interested in joining us ? ? ?

I think he is big on social media and liberally spreads his “likes” including Liverpool matters so people probably read things into that. If he is on 350K per week though that seems more of a deal breaker than the transfer fee which is in itself crazy. It’s nice to dream but Liverpool and Klopp seem more likely to make a superstar rather than buy a superstar and with his track record so far, I’m ok with that.

It would be nice though and he would fit in real well.

Mbappe won’t be coming to Liverpool - let be real here , he is going to end up at either Real or Barca.

He is a great player but don’t see it as a signing the club would be pursuing and even though we are playing well and on top at the moment we aren’t going to spend the £250 mil that it’s going to cost to get him

Even if we're ready to fork out £200m plus for him we'll never pay his wages. It would disbalance our wage structure which we're very strict about.

If we're gonna sign a big money forward it's probably going to be Sancho, and only if one of our current forwards leaves (most likely Mane).

Lets be realistic and look at it from the owners point of view... MBappe is an expensive luxury player but when you own a team that's tearing up the domestic league, winning european cups and smashing records left/right/centre, why would you feel the need to spend £250m on a luxury that won't really improve things that much? How can anyone come into this team and improve on what were doing? maybe if someone leaves but who would you drop to fit in Mbappe?

If there is someone we're going to break the bank for, I would want it to be Mbappe. He's a top top player. But it just no longer fits. I think he'll most likely be off to Madrid.

Mbappe would probably play as a no9 for us and we'd move Bobby more into a CAM role. I think if we end up getting Mbappe it will be to replace either Salah or Mane. I can honestly see Salahs head being turned if Madrid come knocking.

I don't understand our interest in this young Turkish goalie for 15 million, I thought the Ali/Adrian partnership was going fine and dandy?

How can he still be worth that much if he's not even playing? Don't like his injury record either. Doubt we're really interested though, seems like just paper talk.

Alot of talk of us talking to the representatives of Kai Havertz for a possible move for the summer. This kid is brilliant but we have a ton load of Center Mids. He'll cost over £100m..

Milner, Hendo and Gini all will be over thirty next year. Add Lallana to that and we need cover in midfield, it would show real intent. Also it is the only area in the team that would be improved due to a transfer.

The kid is a good player and you're right about our ageing midfield, but I don't think Klopp wants to change his workman like midfield. I mean he may change the personnel (he'll have to at some point), but I doubt he'll change the type of players he wants in there.

Considering Kai is an attacking midfielder, very much like Firmino, he won't fit in our midfield. The only position he could play for us would be Firmino's position. So I doubt we're really interested in him, possibly just inquired about him a year or two ago and we're probably monitoring his progress like we do with another million players.

Don't know how he's doing at the moment, but Grujic was doing very well out on loan in Germany, at least from what I recall at the time. Him coming back is like a new signing I reckon...
