I don't think I've trusted any LFC manager as much as Klopp, when it comes to transfers. He refuses to waste cash on short-term fixes and always has a long-term view in mind.

I have a feeling we'll do a last minute transfer deadline loan deal for coutinho, with him returning on a two year loan.

Can't see Coutinho ever returning to us.
Strong rumour is Arsenal are now looking at Coutinho !

I think if we were in for him we'd have heard something by now, the window shuts in a few days.
Saw that rumour linking him to Arsenal though, hope he doesn't go there, they've already signed Pepe, Pepe and Coutinho was the type of window I hoped we'd have, not Arsenal!

Sky Sports reporting Manure have pulled out of the race for Dybala. Apparently they said he is not for us  :lookaround

Seen that lad who signed for Everton on Sky as well Yakka. Dancing about the place he was and in general gave me the Balotelli vibe

Wanted a lot of money to go there - the big issue when you don’t have CL footy

He's not done a whole lot in pre-season to suggest there's a whole pile of reasons to keep him.
Best of luck to him in the Belgian League, it's probably just about his level.

Looks like Mignolet is off to Club Brugge and we’ll be replacing him with Adrian on a bosman.

Would have prefered if Mignolet stayed, but Adrian is not a bad replacement. The club obviously also saw an opportunity to make some money, sell Mignolet for £9m, sign Adrian for free.

The closer we get to the close of the window the more nervous the likes of Fulham, RB Leipzig and Barcelona will get around players like Sessegnon, Werner or Coutinho who they need to shift. I thought we’d bring in 1-3 players but I think Klopp is planning to go with what he has. But I can see us putting in a low-ball take it or leave it offer for someone on Wednesday/Thursday.

Leeds have just sold one of their attackers. I wonder if they'll make a move for Ryan Kent now. Bielsa attended the Bradford friendly to personally watch him.

What was Jurgen's nett spend? £77m wasn't it? Take off the £9m we're getting for Mingolet and that makes it £68m. If we can get £20m for Kent that will take it to £48m! £48m over 4 years!
2 CL finals, a Europa League final, League Cup final and a runners up spot (and record points total) in the prem for £12m a year. Championship clubs spend more than that these days.
We need to tighten our belts though, we're not Man City you know.

When did anyone ever state “we need to tighten our belts”

Did you actually listen to what he said ?

***** off with your bitchy posts mate. You're so f*cking tiresome spamming up every thread with the same Sh*t. You may have been around a while but you've become the typical modern day internet fan obsessed with big money signings. The football is almost a side show for you. Pathetic.
