What are these 2 players that Everton have signed like? Moise Kean and Dbamin? Their fans seem to think that they are going to finish in the top 4, they are still after Zaha as well by the sounds of it.

Looks like there could be a bit of trouble at mill down at White Hart Lane, Pochettino has kicked off over not having any influence over signings. In other news United and Juventus are on the verge of completing a swap deal according to Sky (Lukaku for Dybala).
That Kean lad Everton have signed is only 19 as well, he may have talent but at 19 I seriously doubt he will have a major influence, he may have a few stand out performances but I can't see him doing it week in week out for 9 solid months.

The fad for buying youngsters is simply to avoid having to pay inflated transfer prices at a later date. Those with the best academies will benefit the most.

United buying so many first teamers is a sorry indicator of how far they've fallen behind, LFC look to improve, Utd are building from scratch. Long may it continue.

Maybe Ole has til Christmas to prove he has the mettle for the job, I guess Poch being unsettled at Spurs encourages United to think they can prise him away at some point and continue the atmosphere of panic and change due lack of strategy. Long may it continue.

What a move that would be if United get Dybala. Class player who could potentially flourish on the EPL.

You’re correct as it seems but Juventus have been trying to sell him for a while, there must be something they don’t like.

How do you know we werent interested in him and that he didnt turn us down ?.  I know all this is media talk and in the rumour mills of the papers but what makes you so sure that it didnt happen.

If you said " i dont think" or "I doubt" we were interested then that might be in line with what others think but you seem to know for sure. How ?.

Seems like Maguire is about to move to Manure. A good signing for them so I hope he doesn't have the same impact there that Virgil had here.

I don't rate Maguire at all.. He's slow and not very mobile. He's very good in the air though which could benefit them from set pieces.

£85m is a ridiculous price and shows how desperate they've become.. Its brilliant business from Leicester.

ManU are building a misfit team under an untested manager at this level. I applaud their desperation.

I love redcafe. 288 pages on the lad already. Selected quotes:

He’ll improve your lot no doubt. But feck me, what a fee. I think there are probably 10 better CBs playing in Europe attainable for half that price.
I hope all the posters criticizing the VVD fee are behaving the same way right now.

Due to his price tag he will be constantly compared to Van Djik. And he is nowhere near as good as Van Djik.

80m. Had to do it really. Okay, so world record for a CB, but clearly, he’s not the best CB in the PL, much less the world.

+++ all above from one page!

I don't think I've trusted any LFC manager as much as Klopp, when it comes to transfers. He refuses to waste cash on short-term fixes and always has a long-term view in mind.

I have a feeling we'll do a last minute transfer deadline loan deal for coutinho, with him returning on a two year loan.
