We didn’t have a true sitting DM in the squad and Fabinho was coming in to fill that slot with Henderson then moving to a number 8 role with Milner in the same role

Fabinho arriving wasn’t to “replace” as was suggested he was bought to “add” to the squad

Fabinho replaced Can in the squad. Can leaving gave Klopp the opportunity to bring in a 6 of his liking. Henderson has played the 6 for us in the past couple of years and at the back end of last season and a few games this season Gini has showed he can also play there. Milner has almost exclusively played as an 8 for us. I'm sure Klopp will bring in a 10 either in Jan or in the summer.

Fabinho isn't going anywhere in January. Anyone who even entertained the idea hasn't the first clue about our manager and how he works.

Why on God's earth would we sell a player we've only just brought in ? If there is even a shred of truth backing this up ,then its something I've never witnessed at this club.

Keane was bought in July 2008 and he was sold Feb 2009 but he was given more than enough opportunities to impress ,Fabinho has been afforded little time to make an impression,it would be bordering on lunacy mate to let a specialist DM leave the club after so few chances.

Can't see us signing any potential names in the window in January.  We have enough in squad depth for now ?

Be interesting to see where Fekir ends up, if he moves in the next couple of windows. But I don't see him ending up here.

There are reports today that they are both fit enough to play against us.

Read today about Moreno to Arsenal  Emery is keen to link up with him again apparently  Was some shyte mentioned about Monreal coming this way as both are in similar situations contract wise.

Ramsey was also mentioned again. Bayern apparently are keen but we are set to be interested also.  Personally I wouldn't want either even if they are free.
