Yeah he's quick and likes to get forward but at this stage of his career he is a walking red card, if he calms down a bit though he might develop into a very good player.

Useful player with just 12 months left on his PSV contract. Does have a history of knee problems though...

The Croydon Advertiser say Palace are still confident of signing Benteke for a price lower than the £30m+ that Liverpool want.

I think they will too. However, not bad business really. We will have paid around 5m to have a look at his abilities, unfortunately it didn't work out.

Yeah I think they'll take a small loss on Benteke if need be, they have already recouped a few bob by selling the likes of Ibe, Skrtel, Allen, Smith, Sinclair, Canos and Texiera for reasonable fee's.

Shame about Smithy, looked the highlight of the bunch given a chance last season. Klopp doesn't have time to waste on them tho. Good luck to him

By all accounts we have a buy back option on him so if he does develop into a top player we can always get him back.

I think a good runs of games in a Premier League side will sort out if he's a man or a boy. Wise to have a buy back clause cos there's a definitely some ability there

Looks like Ryan Kent is in advanced talks to join Barnsley on loan for the season.

Getting a little concerned at the lack talk of DM coming in - I think a lack of DM left us exposed a number of times last season

I'm sure Can will play as our DM. That's where he played towards the end of the season and he was superb. It's not the number 6 that Klopp is worried about, it's the number 8.

DM is a major role in any side. Can is good but my only concern is that his still young and needs time. I was hoping we would have aimed in this window to sign a solid DM to partner CAN. Atm we've got too many attacking minded player. Defensively in the middle could become our weakness.

Looks like Joe Allen has gone, Echo has just confirmed it.
£13m is not bad considering he's got less than 12 months left on his contract.
