Do we need him??

Hmmm bit odd this one.

If true will Markovic ever get into the side?

We have enough attacking options atm so don't really need anymore.

If it's true, I'm getting a bit ***** off with BR for not strengthening our core, ie CM and or DM and GK. In most games, we are not dominant in the middle and control the game. This fettish for AM's gotta stop.

I can't see that being true, for one it doesn't make sense in terms of what we need and two we have already spent about £85m this window. Buying Mkhitaryan would take our summer spending to around the £100m mark and even with the Sterling money taken into consideration that's a hell of a lot of outlay for a team with no CL football and a stadium redevelopment going on.
Talking of AM's though the Echo announced yesterday that Everton are on the verge of signing Yarmalenko for £14m, good player him, he'd be a terrific signing for them.

Michael Bridge (Sky Sports Reporter) posted 7 minutes ago that Victor Wanyama has told Southampton he wants to leave, Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool all said to have shown an interest

I think even if Messi plays for the Saints, we should have a "no more Southampton players" rule

it would be cheaper to buy the organization as a whole.

Pretty sure that is us done this window. According to http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/Liverpool ... /verein/31 we have spent 77.57 million and recouped 54.11. That means we have spent a mind blowing £23.46 million  :buttrock

If Borini goes for £6m then that fee will drop to £17m...

So what are we saying, the club has done well to rotate the poorplayers out and replace with better for a nett 17m spend? Good stuff considering the silly money Chavski, Ure and others are looking to panic spend at the moment.

Then that's good business. We're a better team and only spent £17m and theres no saying Balloman and Lucas aren't going to move on somewhere in the next few days, although Balo will probably be on loan

We can buy picnic chairs and sandwiches for the entire squad to watch the top four run in when all those silly money panic buys ensure a place for their respective clubs in next seasons Champions League.  :D

We needed to spend as frivolously as the teams apparently now panic buying Reg ,it may have not been viewed as financially sound ,but remind me again when being frugal has seen any team that finished out of the top five arrive with an actual ticket for next years party.

Our business is over with, in his press conference just now for the West Ham match Rodgers told Sky Sports News this.... "You won't need to be set up around here on deadline day. We'll be quiet."

Inter Milan have offered £6m for Liverpool striker Fabio Borini, Sky sources understand.

Borini began his senior career at Chelsea after joining from Bologna's youth set-up and went on to become Brendan Rodgers' first signing as Liverpool manager in July 2012.

He has struggled to establish a regular place in the team though, and spent the 2013/14 season on loan at Sunderland.

The 24-year-old returned to Anfield last campaign and scored once in 18 outings but Inter remain keen to take him to the San Siro, where they would offer him a four-year contract.
