Benteke is a good player but hardly ideal for the 'fluid front three' Rodgers talks about. He'd be a vast improvement on what we have but doesn't feel like a Rodgers player.
As for sterling the sooner he is out of the club the better imo. Badly advised or not I don't want him here.

before signing any player we need to get the manager spot sorted.
Personally i'll go for Baca ,or the lads from France - Laccazete ,Fekir ,Rolan. Benteke is a waste for money. FFS we had Carrol

The Express are reporting that Milner is a done deal and they have picked up on a report in the italian press that we have made a second £12.9m bid for Kovacic. Please God may the second one be true

Express are also reporting that we are favourites to sign Yaya Toure.
Maybe that's why the lads were singing the song on Stevies leaving party.

Apparently James Pearce has said that we are not interested in Kovacic.
That figures, Kovacic is actually good so there's no chance that we'd be interested in him, I mean why buy good players when we can waste millions on shyte instead?

Watching Benteke play, got serious doubts whether he is the striker for us especially for the fee being mentioned . Good player and gives defences headaches but really not convinced he will be suited to our style
