Sterling to UTD   If that happens then we have truly become a shadow of the club we once were. Its bad enough selling to the any of the other 3 never mind that lot. Even if they offer twice what any one else does they should be promptly told were to stick it  :nod

The star are reporting all the balotelli and sterling merchandise currently on sale has a 50% reduction in price

A lot of the papers seem to think United might go for him, apparently Real have told Bale he's going nowhere so United now see Raheem as the next best thing.
I still think United will sign Bale myself, scraping into 4th place isn't good enough for them, not if they want to keep all these huge sponsorship deals that they've got so they will need to sign some game changers like Bale.
Sterling has got potential but he's not a Bale/Suarez type game changer, not yet anyway.

Should we be selling to United as much as we'd like to sell Sterling?

Typically i would say no ,but the idea we milk the Shiits for all they got and getting rid of this clown kinda make sense all of a sudden....

Potential names

Klopp, as head coach. I really hope FSG do all they can to bring him in and appoint him.

Monchi as DoF would be a good bet.

Unai Emery is a good bet, if not Klopp, but he wasn't happy with LFC as to the dealings for Moreno. LFC are doing things in the background to build those bridges though.

Even Roger Schmidt would be a good choice as head coach

Liverpool Open Talks With Benfica Winger Eduardo Salvio Over £40m Deal

Liverpool have stepped up their efforts to sign highly-rated Benfica winger Eduardo Salvio, according to reports in the Daily Express.

Brendan Rodgers is hoping for a busy summer after a disastrous end to the Premier League season, which culminated in a 6-1 defeat to Stoke City on the final day, and Salvio has emerged as a top target.

According to Portuguese paper O'Jogo the Benfica president and Salvio's agent have flown to the UK to tie up a deal.

Salvio has a £40million buyout clause although it is suggested the Reds will try and negotiate a better price with Benfica in financial trouble.

Salvio joined Benfica in 2012 and has made over 100 appearances for the Portuguese champions, and has also managed to represent Argentina five times.

The winger has enjoyed a stellar campaign, scoring 13 goals and providing 11 assists for Jorge Jesus' side. However, Liverpool may face stiff competition from Tottenham, who are also reportedly interested in the 24-year-old.

Salvio has pace and creativity and is seen as an ideal replacement for Raheem Sterling, with the England international ready to leave Anfield. Sterling is currently embroiled in a bitter contract dispute and, while it remains to be seen how it is resolved, Rodgers is already shopping for successors.

Although, according to CaughtOffside, PSG are a third club interested in Salvio, who are looking for replacements as Ezequiel Lavezzi nears the exit door.

Liverpool are looking at several players to bolster their squad and put themselves in a strong position to reclaim Champions League football next season, and Salvio would be an excellent start to what is expected to be a busy summer at Anfield.

His club have  said that they will be willing to let Salvio leave, but clubs  will need to cough up  the €60m release clause both Zenit St Pete and Mwanck United have kept watch on this player, however, both of these clubs really don't want to get any more involved because of the asking price. Unless LFC were to sell RS, maybe the the club may consider buying him, but right now there is no spare €60m, there isn't much cash available,. It's a 'sell to buy' policy regardless of what BR tells the world. Anyway, I for one would not trust BR with any money at all. Btw, PSG are looking to do  negotiate  I.e player and cash, but like LFC, they also have FFP issues.

Ha! Torn knee ligaments? That wouldn't deter Braveheart Brendan, he'd sign him anyway on the offchance that he may be able to walk again!

Slysports giving out rubbish again. I can't really see Totshite coughing up £12m for someone that is almost available on a free. That amount of money would be massive compensation.

According to the press it looks like Benteke is our number 1 target this summer.
Back to hoof ball by the looks of it.

Yep, that would be dreadful. Not only that though, he's made things clear via his agent, that he wants to be 1st choice striker, and wants that stipulated in any contract that is drawn up. Somehow, if DS is fit and well, it would be a little chaotic between the two. Don't think LFC would want any of that lugguage.
