Morning papers linking us with Victor Valdes, saying that we don't need to finalise it today because he is a free agent
Fabio Borini linked with loan deal to Inter Milan but we are holding out for a permanent deal
Coates linked with loan move to Sunderland

A back up keeper would be useful, but we really need to offload few too. Apparently we would loan Borini again, but only if in return of a 4 mill fee

Deffo need someone who can
really challenge Mig for the starting spot. In terms of depth and quality GK spot is now our weakest position, pity Rodgers and Reina couldn't work it out

Liverpool are in talks over a deal to sign former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes.Valdes is a free agent after his release from his boyhood club this summer.
But, after suffering a cruciate ligament injury in March, the former Barca No 1 will not be fit until December.
The 32-year-old Catalan keeper would provide cover for Brendan Rodgers' first-choice in goal, Simon Mignolet.
Valdes had been set for a move to mega-rich French side Monaco, but his injury put paid to the move.
Rodgers had originally planned to move for Alex McCarthy from Reading, but the highly-rated England keeper is set to join QPR for £6million.
Valdes is a legend at the Nou Camp after keeping goal for over 500 matches for the La Liga giants, winning three Champions League finals and six La Liga titles.

Falcao is desperate after his Real move appears to be off the cards. I'm abit ***** off he's going to the scum, but I want players that want to play for this club, not someone that uses the club as second choice.

WTF! That sucks, Falcao going on loan to the mancs I mean. But I guess on one hand, him going to a team struggling for cohesion is the lesser evil.
