Now I'm starting to worry that we are doing exactly the same thing as Spurs did last year.
All this money being drained away buying players that are not currently as good as the ones we already have.

I'm losing faith about the marquee signing, I don't think its gonna happen after all.

Would be very surprised if he moves anywhere this window considering he is out with a cruciate knee injury so story smells of BS

If we are going to sign a 'marquee' player, it will be towards the end of the window IMO. Usually towards the end of the window, you will get some players, who for whatever reason haven't managed to get a move to a Real/Barca or moneybags City, PSG, Chelsea, and then will look at other options. All IMO of course

Wonder what he failed on. One of my concerns with him was that he seemed to pick up injuries quite frequently. Also seem to remember an issue with his heart being picked up while he was at Marseille a few years back if I'm not mistaken

I wonder if Borini's decision to turn down Sunderland has had anything to do with the Remy deal being called off.

god i hope not.
with any luck we will still get rid of borini and sign another option in his place only one with a lot more quality. the thoughts of someone like sturridge getting injured and borini expected to step up scare's the life of me

Yep. Remy has a medical condition involving a hole in his heart. Has failed 4 medicals since 2002.

you learn something new everyday  :D
id be surprised if he failed over that as surely the club knew that situation before bidding for him.
