Anyone hear anything about this?

Ive heard a few things on a couple of Liverpool websites now that he could possibly be coming our way.

He is English, a solid player and wouldn't cost the world

What do you think?

I think he's a good player, would rather look elsewhere but we could a lot worse than scott parker

Bloody hell Michael , ive just come outta the Xabi thread ,saying that Rafa might not be looking in Spain ive heard that an all , very strong rumours , how old is he now ,

28 Nanny, i was chatting by PM with a guy I know on a different forum and he seemed to think that this might happen and he is not often that wrong

Heard the same today from one of the lads at melwood . Didn't really know what to make of it until i sore this thread . Very very strong rumour this one .

Yeah my that fella told me about it and i was having none of it but it seems to be picking up a bit of pace.

Do you think hes more of a Xabi or a masherano type player ,
The amount ive heard though is dead cheap.

I was down my local earlier and one of the lads a season ticket holder did mention that he is being lined up to replace Xabi.

I hope it's not true but of what I've heard he could well be on his way

Well if we get him for so cheap , he would be an excellent replacement for xabi . If the lad stay's fit and he's still only 28 ,he could be the final piece of the jigsaw .

Yeah but he didn't do nothing at Newcastle albeit a poor newcastle team, I know he was once regarded as the next best thing but loads of players are when there young then don't go on to fill there potential plus he is 28 now and played for Chelsea and wasn't deemed good enough for them

have to agree, he might even be the type we've been crying out for regardless of Xabi
