People are comparing Alonso to barry and cashing in on alonso and getting barry for cheaper. Even though Alonso is top class we are not going to get more than 20m. Barry is not even good enough for a bench warmer at Liverpool FC.

I completely agree with you (well, except for the part where you say Barry's not good enough for our bench...). With that said, we already have a perfectly good thread on Alonso, not to mention a perfectly good thread on transfer rumours--ever of which covers this ground. In the interest of not splitting discussion between a number of threads, this one will be locked.
