If Rafa signs Heskey, would he be happy to sit on the bench week after week in the twilight of his career or is he seen as the final piece of the Valencia model(Carew)? If Heskey does come in it does it mean Keane is on his way out?

I think Heskey would be a good foil for Keane upfront.

I know we have Torres back from injury but I still worry a little that Torres will take a while to get back to his best. There is also the rick that the hamstring will go again.

Heskey could either play up front with Keane or come on as an impact substitute. He wouldn't be a 1st team regular starter but he would get enough minutes on the pitch to keep him happy.

I am all for the re-signing of big Emile  :)
