After failing to seal a deal with £13million-rated Peter Crouch, Newcastle United gaffer Kevin Keegan, has set his sights on Dutch misfit Dirk Kuyt and will try to lure the (recently dropped) international star to St. James’ Park during the summer.

This was on KOP TV.

So what you guys think?

Newcastle wanted him when we bought him, they got Martins instead. If they want him now, snap their hand off.

they always pay more then required so i think a bid in the region of 10 to 14 million would be good

They've already got Alan Smith...why in the hell would they look to buy another goal-shy striker turned midfielder? :D

I am going to go against the grain here and show support for Kuyt. I rate the guy as a good player. OK he hasn't been as prolific as we'd like but he is a good squad player and a great workker. Of late he's created a lot of chances for us and I think the 4-2-3-1 formation suits him.
