has anyone got any info on any of the young players coming through the academy

i thought last season we were going to see anderson come on leaps and bounds after his showing in the youth cup

hamill has done really well in scotland and is a player i would like to see in the pre season games

guthrie is doing the right thing by going to bolton as he will get first team football and must be quite highly rated if we haven't dropped him

i think alot of this reflects rafa s comments on wanting a more competitive second team for the youth to blood themselves on

any info or thoughts

Anderson's supposed to be highly regarded at the club, the emphasis seems to be on bringing in young foreign talent at the moment e.g. The Hungarians and co. purely because we've not been producing the talent.

My cousin, he's a mint goalie, he's only 8 but he's mint, Everton tried to sign him but he's a mad red and told them to do one...... literally.

Hamill done extremely well up here for Dunfermline and may benefit training with the first team.
Although Dunfermline were relegated he was a stick out but the scottish premier league standard is very poor outside the top 3-4 teams.

I really hope that our young guys get their shot in the carling cup matches, I think we can field a pretty decent squad:
Carson (or one of the Martins)
Peltier       Darby       Hobbs       Insua
                       Lucas
Anderson                               Hammil
                        Leto
           El Zhar            Lindfield

Subs:
Antwi  CB
Roque CB
Threlfall LB

Ryan Flynn CM
Ray Putteril
Jay Spearing

Jordy Brouwer
Besian Idziaj
The Hungarians

Although it is much more likely to see the likes of Hyypia, Momo, Paletta, Voronin, Luis Garcia and maybe Arbeloa
