Eto'o, tevez and henry - The grapevine is talking to me...

Before I get laughed out of the place, I'll start by saying that my source is the same guy who fed me details of Fowler's return days before it became public last year.

Here's what I've been told:

* LFC are talking to representatives of all three.

* Eto'o and Tevez top Rafa's wants list.

* Initial feedback from Eto'o has been cold

* Tevez is interested in LFC.

* Ballpark figure quoted by Tevez's advisors - £32m.

* Henry's reps apparently contacted LFC (!), not the other way around. Talks are at a very, very early stage.

* All to do with the Wenger situation - if he doesn't sign a new contract, Henry will leave.

* The takeover situation at Arsenal has changed Henry's mind about never signing for another English club. Man U not a possibility, however.

Make of that what you will. What I will say is that this guy has very, very, very good sources. :D

I don't often get involved in transfer talk, as I know how insane some of the rumours do get.

This guy is an old media mate of mine though that I hardly see these days. I always like to get in touch with him around the time that transfer windows open though. :D

out of those players  i would take tevez  as our top target...

mainly because of his age,   but mainly because he seems to fit in to the rough and ready premiership style of play...

tevez would be more than welcome at liverpool...    :nod

dont worry about chelsea, i believe the purse strings there have been tightened and there will be no major signings this summer, unless that was just a smoke screen. but i do think roman has had enough and spent enough

Javier hopes for Tevez move

Javier Mascherano says it is 'possible' that his fellow Argentine, Carlos Tevez, will move to Liverpool.

Tevez is considering his future at West Ham United after admitting it may be time to join a major European club.

He arrived at Upton Park last August, along with Mascherano, with the duo's controversial transfer eventually landing The Hammers with a £5.5million fine.

Mascherano moved on again in January when he signed for Liverpool and he has impressed since playing regularly in the Premiership.

Reports suggest the UEFA Champions League finalists want to reunite the South Americans, and the midfielder believes his compatriot would be a big hit at Anfield.

"It's possible he will come," Mascherano told the Sun about the Tevez rumours.

"I would love to have him by my side as a player and a friend.

"After managing to keep West Ham in the Premiership, he has a lot of possibilities to move to a big club in Europe.

"When we talk we avoid discussing moves, but I know he's talking about a probable move to Liverpool.

"He would be a barbarian."

That makes it more interesting, as we have an advantage to get tevez, quality player.

teves 32 mil= that`s a hell of a lot but then come the end of the season and we are the champs it would be a steal
